Trainee Accountant

£20,000 – £23,000

Stockport

This role is made for someone who wants to get stuck in and learn about finance with a hands-on approach.

Sitting in a classroom learning the theory behind everything can be daunting, I can testify to this and believe you learn so much more when you’re in an office environment (I was once an apprentice after leaving college!). So, if you are a school/college leaver and want to start your career rather than continuing with education then you have to carry on reading…

Some things you simply can’t learn in the classroom, like weekly payment runs, maintaining relationships with suppliers, or using accounting software’s. You will work closely with the Finance Manager, and they will give you an insight into how a business operates, you’ll be able to see it first hand compared to learning about it in a textbook!

You will gain some excellent practical experience, alongside earning a competitive salary compared to your college friends who will only earn a part-time wage! So, if you want to save up for your first car or just like having some money to go out at the weekend, then working full-time might be for you.

What makes this company so amazing is that they will pay for an additional 10 driving lessons if you are learning or will contribute this money towards your insurance. The FM understands how expensive it can be to learn how to drive, so alongside offering some brilliant career development they also want you to develop personally.

If this role is something that sounds exciting, I am interviewing immediately so please give me a call on 0161 237 1828 or email harry@platinumrecruits.co.uk
