I am currently working with a client of ours in Salford who are looking for a Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk to support the their rapidly growing finance team.
We have worked with this client a lot in recent years and have seen ourselves how the business has developed to become one of the most successful businesses within their sector.
This will be very hands on role where you can really get stuck into everything purchase ledger. Because of this, prior experiences within a fast paced, high volume purchase ledger position will be essential.
You will be tasked with positing purchase invoices, matching all invoices to PO’s, dealing with invoice queries, bank and statement reconciliations and other ad hoc tasks within the wider team.
You will not be doing all of this alone! You will be working with a highly experienced team who are already running a smooth ship. You will also helping a purchase ledger assistant, reviewing their work as they assist you day to day.
As previously mentioned, prior experience within a similar position is essential. The ideal candidate will also be highly organised with the ability to work to their own initiative and have good working knowledge of finance software including Excel.
