Construction Bookkeeper

Carrington

£30,000

A fantastic opportunity to work for supportive Directors who have listened to their staff’s needs and can offer a flexible working environment.

They need a Bookkeeper to run the finances, with free reign to implement change and promote business growth; you will have support and guidance from the external accountants, but you certainly won’t be micro-managed and will be trusted to shape your working week.

A key player in the construction world, you will liaise with a whole host of customers and suppliers from local businesses to blue-chip enterprises so you won’t be stuck behind a desk just data inputting; the Directors view the Bookkeeper as the heart & soul of the business and a core asset- with a real input in monthly meetings and appraisals.

They need someone who is very versed with the construction industry and has a working knowledge of CIS; the reason this is so important is because you will be setting up new jobs on the system, ensuring the sub-contractors are paid and liaising with Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers – so unfortunately, unless you have this knowledge I won’t be able to process your application.

This business requires an individual full-time due to the growth they’re experiencing however they are more than happy to be flexible if you need to do the school run or have an appointment; they realise it’s more important for people to have a work/ life balance which is why they have this modern approach – and it has worked successfully so far.

So if you are considering a new role and would like further details please apply or email harry@platinumrecruits.co.uk
