This is a proactive and forward-thinking business, they want their next Management Accountant to develop on both a professional and personal level, outlining a straight route to Financial Controller for the successful candidate. As you move into this senior role, you will take over management of a 10 strong team, all members well-established and self-sufficient – this is the perfect team to inherit as you transition into your first managerial position.
The speed at which you ‘step up’ is completely dictated by YOU and your ambition – if you surpass expectations and excel, there no reason why you wouldn’t become the Financial Controller in the next 12 months – the possibilities here are massive!
You’ll be joining a highly profitable, cash-rich business set on growth. This year alone they have won 2 new contracts, one of which in the region of around £5million – their expansion shows no signs of slowing down, the perfect, stable environment to thrive in.
This is a full time office-based role, they recognise people may need to flex on start and finish times, the Finance Director is happy to accommodate this, he is flexible and supportive leader.
Having visited the office and chatted at length with the Finance Director, we’ve gained an in-depth understanding of the environment and culture – as the FD puts it ‘there’s no micro-management here, people are free to get on with their jobs, they are trusted.’ It’s clear he’s a dedicated mentor but gives you the space needed to blossom, you couldn’t be in better hands as you settle in.
On your qualification level, the Finance Director is flexible…whether you’re qualified, part-qualified or QBE he is open, what’s essential is you’ve already produced MAs end-to-end, the business needs someone who has a solid understanding of the entire process.
