You will play a crucial role in an organisation’s financial health by providing detailed financial and operational information to managers. Take a peek at the key duties and responsibilities:

  • Budgeting and Forecasting – Prepare and manage budgets, develop financial forecasts and projections and analyse variances between actual and budgeted figures.
  • Financial Reporting – Generate internal financial reports for management, prepare detailed analysis and summaries of financial data and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Cost Analysis – Conduct cost-benefit analysis through analysing cost structures and performance.
  • Financial Planning and Strategy – Assist Senior Management in the development of long-term financial strategies.
  • Risk Management – Identify and assess financial risks by developing risk mitigation strategies and monitoring and managing financial risks.
  • Financial Decision Support – Provide financial insights to support decision-making.
  • Capital Budgeting – Evaluate capital investment opportunities.
  • Inventory Management – Oversee inventory accounting and valuation.
  • Stakeholder communication
  • Supporting the Financial Controller with adhoc projects to suit the business
