The Finance Directors’ main priority is to ensure the finance team is supported, whilst still creating a positive and relaxed atmosphere.
You’ll be working in a wider team of 4; however, this is a standalone credit control role meaning you have full autonomy and management over your workload. This is great if you like being part of a supportive team but want the responsibility of managing your ledger.
The business needs someone who is happy picking up the phone with customers and has a passion for bringing money in. As a Credit Controller, you will need to be resilient, personable, and proactive – this isn’t a role where you’ll be sat in a corner sending emails all day, you will play an essential part in ensuring the business maintains a healthy cash flow.
The Sales Ledger function is completely looked after by someone else at the business – you don’t need to worry about firing off invoices or credit notes, you can focus on implementing and developing new procedures and policies, really putting your mark on the role and having the full backing of the FD to make change where you see fit.
